This is a picture I made using Paintchips and a butterfly punch.

 I attached the butterflies with adhesive foam squares onto plain scrapbook paper.

Here is the finished picture in a 12x12 shadow box frame.

Baby's Treasure Box

This is a treasure box to hold babies precious momentos...or you can make it for yourself as a memory box.  Simply ModPog torn paper onto a wooden box(from Hobby Lobby) then adorn with trinkets and such. I added a small frame on the front to hold baby's picture. I glued small spools on the bottom for feet. I used wire and clear beads to make a handle on top- the box is thin enough to poke the wire through and secure with glue before you add the felt to the inside.I have written a poem that goes on the bottom which you may use. I coated the outside with a coat of varnish and I finished the inside off with felt. The 3 small boxes are made to hold baby's first tooth, hair and booties or whatever you choose.  TFL!

Altered Baby Book

This book is created by repurposing an old book and making it into an altered book...I removed a few of the books pages to make room for all the embellishments.  I used some of my own poetry.  Thanks for looking!

Lazy me!

I am such a flibberdigibet!!! I am back to crafting...as of late I have been making crocheted character hats...I will post photos soon...and I am back at my scrappy table!!!!

What a month...

This past month has been one of my most difficult!!!  For those who have SDD(Sever Depression Disorder) you can probably understand.  Every few years I seem to 'drop my basket'...my meds quit working and I panic...thank God for family and friends to help me hold it together until I am on correct meds and feeling like my HiHappy self.  I'm back :)

Babies are Home...I am Home

Well the twins are home with thier family as they should be and both are off of Oxygen!!! Getting bigger a little everyday...Aria is around 7.8 lbs. and Alex is around 7.4 lbs.  They are the size of newborns now...not bad for over 2 months old!
I am home from an extended vacation and am anxious to get in my craft room and get my hands dirty!

A day at the NICU

I spent the day at the NICU with my daughter and her beautiful twins...they are doing so well that possibly by weeks end they can come home... here are a few pictures from my day there :)

We are off to visit the youngest family member...my sweet grandson Logan(and his parents).  won't get much crafting done but I'll be back at it soon!!!

Off to Salt Lake!!!

I'm off to Salt Lake City to go to my Niece Chelsey's Bridal Shower...4 days of fun with my sissy's, my mom and nieces!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
